Exciting! Exciting! Exciting! There is so much excitement about Laser Hair Removal. Although it is commonly referred to as Laser Hair Removal, the actual process of reduction of hair growth is indeed a process called Permanent Hair Reduction. It is one of the fastest growing non-surgical options available. According to the Academy of Plastic Surgery, it is the 2nd most common non-surgical procedure performed.
With laser hair removal, we can permanently reduce hair anywhere on the human body. Hundreds of thousands of people across the country have experienced the luxury of reduced hair growth. An additional benefit of laser hair removal is its ability to treat and prevent ingrown hair that often causes irritating and inflamed bumps also known as “razor bumps”.
How does it work?
BioDerm uses a breakthrough technology called Intense Pulsed Light to destroy hair follicles at their base to permanently prevent new hair from growing at that site. This means that the light energy is absorbed in the targeted hair follicles while sparing the surrounding, healthy skin tissue. The intense pulsed light is administered in small bursts to minimize any discomfort. The hair will subsequently fall out within a few days. Each patient skin type is unique so our Physician Trained Staff can individualize your treatment to fit your skin color, hair color, sensitivity to light, and hair density. BioDerm can treat a wide range of hair colors: auburn, dirty blonde, light brown, dark brown and black hair. We can also treat a wide range of skin colors, from light skin to dark skin.
How many treatments will I need?
Even after just one treatment, a significant reduction in hair may occur at the treated area.
Significant hair reduction does require 5 or more treatments to adequately cover the majority of hair follicles. This is due to the fact that hair grows in stages, and the light will only treat actively growing hair follicles. With only approximately 25-60% of the hair in any given area in the active phase, each treatment can reduce hair by approximately 25-60%. The thing to remember is that the hair reduction is PERMANENT, so the expense of waxing, buying razors and enduring cuts will soon be a thing of the past.
Is it safe?
Numerous published studies in professional medical journals attest to the IPL system’s safety and long-term effectiveness.
How long does the treatment take and what are the side effects?
Treatment times vary depending on the size of the area being treated. Large areas like the legs, back or chest can last 30-45 minutes. Areas like the chin, upper lip, nose, ears, underarm, bikini line or side burns generally last 15 minutes. Side effects and complications are rare, but do occur and a thorough explaining of risk and benefits will be addressed at a personalized consultation with our consultant.
Does it hurt?
The light is selectively absorbed by the hair and hair follicles. The skin itself is exposed to little heat. Minimal discomfort is experienced and can be alleviated with a cool spray, cool roll, and cool gel.
Do I need to let my hair grow out for treatment?
No. There is no need to let your hair grow out before you remove it. Light penetrates beneath
the skin to reach the hair follicles.

Photofacial is one of the most innovative breakthroughs to come to the non-surgical cosmetic industry. You can now benefit from this remarkable treatment option, which involves a series of intense pulsed light to the skin, to improve the appearance of sun damaged skin. The results are younger and healthier looking skin. 96% of patients would recommend the treatment to others, so patient satisfaction is the key to why this treatment is becoming a leading treatment option.
What can Photofacials treat?
Photofacials are used to treat fine lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores and acne scarring by promoting new collagen production. The procedure is also effective for treating pigmented and vascular lesions, such as age or sun spots, melasma, rosacea, port-wine stains, telangiectasia (broken or dilated blood vessels), redness or flushing, benign moles, and other skin blemishes. Although photofacials are most commonly used on the face, treatments can be done anywhere on the body. Often referred to as a “Mini-Facelift”, your skin will appear tighter, firmer, and smoother as you receive ongoing treatments. Maintenance is suggested to maintain these results.
Why photofacial treatments instead of a facelift?
The biggest advantage of photofacial treatments is that there is no downtime or recovery period. Treatments can be done during your lunch break and you can return to work or resume your regular activities immediately. No surgery means less pain, no danger of life threatening complications and infections, and makes it much more affordable.
How long does each treatment take and does it hurt?
Treatment times range from 20-30 minutes, depending on the area being treated. Often described as a rubber band hitting lightly against the skin, any discomfort can be minimized by a numbing cream.
How often do I need treatments?
Initially, 5 sessions every 3-4 weeks apart are recommended to generate the complete turnover of old collagen and produce the optimal treatment effect of therapy. We recommend a maintenance treatment program, which will be discussed on an individual basis following the initial treatment series to maintain a youthful appearance.
What results can I expect?
Even with your first treatment, you will notice an improvement in your skin tone, texture and complexion. You will begin to notice an improvement of vascular and pigmented lesions, and with each succeeding treatment, your skin will become more supple and firmer with improved reduction of fine lines, wrinkles and pore size.
MicroPeel is the newest and most innovative option that involves both a microdermabrasion and a light chemical peel. In addition to microdermabrasion, micropeel removes old dead skin, debris, and acne forming bacteria. It unclogs pores, reduces fine lines, and evens skin tone. These benefits are augmented by the subsequent application of a chemical peeling agent, which reduces fine lines, acne scarring, and superficial blemishes present in your skin.
By doing the Microdermabrasion first, it allows more effective penetration of the chemical peeling agent, leading to better and faster results. Following the treatment, your face is revitalized by our physician-only skin care product line to help rejuvenate, moisturize and protect your skin. A MicroPeel treatment typically lasts 30 minutes – that’s why this treatment is often referred to as the “Lunch Time Peel.”
Microdermabrasion is a wonderful treatment option that is catching the nation by storm. Noted
in Vogue and Allure magazine as “One of the Best Kept Secrets in Skin Care”, it is a wonderful option to help exfoliate the most superficial layer of your skin which helps unclog pores, remove bacteria, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, and even out skin tone by reducing sun damaged skin. It involves no recovery time, almost no discomfort, and allows you to resume normal activities immediately.
What is the treatment like?
This procedure is not painful (only a slight suctioning and abrasion sensation), requires no anesthesia, and will not adversely lighten or darken dark skin, as some exfoliating treatments can do. Here at BioDerm Skin Care & Laser Center, we use medical grade physician-strength microdermabrasion cosmeceuticals that involves tiny crystal particles accelerated to your skin to help gently exfoliate the top layer of dead skin, which in turn will stimulate new and healthy skin growth. Our professional staff will adjust the abrasion strength as needed depending on the individual skin condition. Following the treatment, your face is revitalized by our physician only skin care product line to help rejuvenate, moisturize and protect your skin. You can then immediately resume your regular activities, with only mild skin pinkness, which generally fades within an hour or two. It will leave you with a beautiful, healthy, radiant glow.
What can it treat?
Microdermabrasion is able to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, blackheads and whiteheads, superficial pigmentation, remove acne forming bacteria, improve acne scarring, and give the skin a healthy, fresh glow.
Who are candidates?
Microdermabrasion is ideal for individuals who don’t want to undergo any downtime or long healing time, high expenses, severe discomfort, and possible side effects of alternative skin resurfacing treatments such as deep chemical peels, dermabrasion or skin resurfacing. Generally, anyone is a candidate.
How long does it take?
A full face treatment typically lasts about 15 – 30 minutes so it can actually be done during your
lunch break. A microdermabrasion is a simple way to maintain healthy skin year round, and can complement your home skin care regimen.
What skin care products are recommended in combination with microdermabrasion?
These treatments will likely be combined with physician-prescribed medical strength skin care products, from a physician only product line, to enhance the results of the microdermabrasion treatment.
How long will the results last?
The duration of the effects of each treatment will depend on how vigilant you are at maintaining adequate hydration of your skin with moisturizers and how well you protect your skin from the sun with sunscreen SPF 15 or higher. Following the initial series, periodic maintenance microdermabrasion treatments (every few weeks, depending on the skin condition) are sometimes recommended.
Chemical peels are a great option for those who wish to smooth out mild acne scars, unclog pores, or just want that new glow from healthy rejuvenated skin. Chemical peels involve the application of a chemical solution to remove the damaged outer layers of the skin. This promotes healthier and younger looking skin. At BioDerm Skin Care & Laser Center, we can Determine which peel is right for you depending on your expectations, skin type, and severity of the skin condition being treated.
What is the treatment like?
A chemical peel involves first cleansing the face, following by application of different chemical agents that results in a controlled removal of the most superficial layer(s) of the skin, removing dead skin, blemishes, acne creating bacteria, acne scarring, and unclogging pores in that region. This in turn forces the body to produce new skin void of these unwanted blemishes and lesions. In the hands of our trained, certified and licensed medical personnel, we can your face is revitalized by our physician-only skin care product line to help rejuvenate, moisturize and protect your skin.
What does it treat?
It can help treat acne scarring, reduce fine lines and wrinkles, hyperpigmented(dark spots) ares, sun damaged skin, freckles, melasma, improve skin texture and remove small blemishes throughout the face to even out skin tone. By removing old, dead skin and blemishes, chemical peels can make way for the new skin to surface and thus improve the appearance of your skin. A chemical peel can exfoliate your skin, unclog pores and destroy bacteria to prevent future acne from forming.
How long is the downtime or recovery time and what are the side effects?
There is tittle or no downtime for light chemical peels. However, depending on your skin condition and sensitive your skin is, the procedure may cause some flaking redness, dryness, or skin irritation for 18-24 hours. This is normal because as the new skin is developing , the old skin will slough off. You can expect to engage in normal activities the day of treatment. For those who are sensitive or prefer not to undergo any scaling or peeling or prolonged redness, we can tailor your chemical peel to create the desired results.
Does the treatment take long?
Full face light and medium chemical peels take approximately 15-30 minutes.
When skin care products are recommended in combination with chemical peels?
These treatments will likely be combined with physician-prescribed medical strength skin products, from a physician only line to enhance the results of the chemical peels.

BOTOX is the most explosive and dynamic treatment option to hit the country in years. Though used by physicians and Hollywood movie and television stars for years, the general public is just now realizing the extraordinary benefits of BOTOX. From approximately 200,000 treatments given in 2003, to an astounding 2 million treatments performed in 2004, these numbers are expected to continue to climb as more and more people are discovering the miraculous results from BOTOX. BOTOX is easily becoming the most sought after treatment option to help reduce wrinkles around the eyes, forehead, and frown lines.
What is BOTOX?
BOTOX is a highly refined and purified protein, produced and manufactured by Allergan. FDA approved, the protein is subsequently injected into targeted muscles, which relaxes the muscles that causes wrinkles and lines to form. The actual toxin or live bacteria is never injected, so the risk of a botulism infection will not occur. Treatments are quick and simple, involve no down time, have minimal discomfort, and are non-surgical.
What is the treatment like?
Each treatment session will usually last 15 minutes. The process consists of a few injections into the targeted muscle(s). There is no recovery time. You can even do it during your lunch break. Although no anesthesia is required, we can reduce any discomfort by using a topical numbing cream prior to the injections. You may resume normal activity immediately after the procedure. Results are visible within a few days and last between 3-6 months.
How does BOTOX work?
The BOTOX protein injected into the targeted muscle will block the nerve from signaling the specific muscle to contract. Preventing contractions of the muscles means no movement of the over lying skin, resulting in fewer wrinkles. Results are generally visible within 2-3 days with best results by day 9. Your healthcare provider will know how much BOTOX is needed to treat you effectively. Also, if you are concerned with side effects or complications associated with long term use, don’t be. Muscles that are injected still remain in fine working order, even after years and years of treatment. In other words, if you have been treated with Botox for years and one day you decide not to continue with treatments, your muscles will resume normal
Are there any advantages to starting younger?
Usually it is to the patient’s advantage to start younger. That way you can prevent permanent deep lines from forming. It is better to prevent wrinkles than to treat them. Also, with ontinued use, the effects of BOTOX will last longer and longer with each subsequent treatment.
What will I look like after my injection?
The majority of patients will have a few red dots in the areas that have been injected. These marks typically take 15 minutes to go away. After that, there is no sign that you have had an injection. If you develop a small bruise, it can be concealed with make-up and will usually resolve in 24-48 hours.
What are my restrictions after the injection?
Due to the mechanism of action of BOTOX, it is recommended that certain activities are restricted for 2 hours following injection, such as getting a facial or massage, drinking alcoholic beverages, flying, exercising and straining.
What areas can BOTOX treat?
Botox is most often used to treat wrinkles on the forehead, wrinkles around the eyes, and wrinkles between the eyebrows.
Is it true that BOTOX last longer and longer the more you do it?
Yes, for most people. What is important is the interval between injections. The effects of BOTOX will last longer and longer with each subsequent treatment. It is recommended that you do not allow your wrinkles to return to 100% before getting another injection, as the BOTOX will have to start over from scratch in reducing wrinkles. If administered before the effects wear off, thus maintaining a wrinkle free area, this will extend the time BOTOX will be effective.

Juvéderm – Dermal Fillers
Dermal filler is a remarkable treatment option to reduce deep wrinkles immediately, dramatically, and with long-lasting results. This FDA approved option is being utilized by physicians around the country for patients who desire to reduce deep wrinkles around their mouth, nose and chin that are too deep to adequately respond to other treatment options. Juvéderm is a dermal filler used to reduce and treat deep wrinkles and lines, shape facial contour, and add volume to lips. Results can be seen immediately after treatment and the effects are long lasting. Treatments can last up to 1 year, depending on how fast your body will break down the Dermal Filler. One of the advantages of Juvéderm is its ability to produce results immediately, and the procedure can be done in a gradual manner to assure your desired results.
Why Choose Juvéderm?
Over time skin begins to lose volume and structure from the gradual loss of collagen complexity. That’s when fine lines and wrinkles start to appear. Juvéderm, which is FDA approved, can offer you a natural beauty lift by using your body’s own material. It is a crystal- clear, biodegradable, non-animal stabilized hyaluronic acid gel, which is injected into the skin in tiny amounts with a very fine needle. The result is instantaneous, producing a long-lasting, natural enhancement that is gentle and safe to the skin. When satisfied with your initial treatment, you may choose to follow up whenever you wish. The non-permanence may initially seem like a disadvantage but it is important to point out the possible side effects of a permanent treatment. With permanent dermal fillers, as you age, the filler will not, which can lead to abnormal facial contours that may require repair, or even surgical correction. With Juvéderm, you are always in charge of your look, reapplying treatments to any of the aging signs you prefer to focus on, yet allowing your face to change as needed.
Often compared to collagen injections, Juvéderm is not an animal product so a skin test is not required. Also, the effects of Juvéderm last 3-4 times longer than collagen.
How long will the treatment take?
Treatments may take from 45 minutes to an hour, depending on the correction you wish to have performed.
Which facial areas respond best to treatment?
Fillers work exceptionally well on wrinkles around the mouth, nose, and lips. Juvéderm is best used on areas with deep wrinkles that will not resolve with other treatment options, like vertical lip lines or deep cheek fold lines (also known as nasolabial). It can also be applied to create fuller lips or just improve that downward angle at the corners of the lips. Juvéderm is also used in conjunction with other cosmetic procedures to obtain an overall enhancement.
How are treatments performed?
Juvéderm is an in-office procedure. A numbing medication will be initially used to minimize any discomfort. During the treatment, a tiny needle is used to inject the Juvéderm into the skin.
What can I expect after the treatment?
Following the treatment, you are expected to follow post-treatment instructions that will help minimize bruising and swelling. While some mild swelling and some slight bruising at the treatment site may occur, the swelling usually last for a few hours to a few days and can be minimized with ice packs. If bruising occurs, it can remain for 2-3 days which can generally be covered with make-up. Results can only be evaluated after the swelling has subsided. The Juvéderm injectables may last up to 12 months.
What is Acne?
Follicles, often called pores, sometimes get blocked. As a result, sebum (your body’s natural oil which normally drains to the skin’s surface) builds up and allows bacteria to grow. These bacteria produce chemical and enzymes and attract white blood cells that cause inflammation. When the wall of the blocked follicle breaks down, it spills
everything into the nearby skin, leading to lesions or pimples.
– Acne treatments at BioDerm
Tiny crystal particles gently exfoliate away the top layer of the scarred skin, which in turn will stimulate new skin growth. Our professional staff will adjust the abrasion strength as needed depending on the individual skin. A full face treatment typically last about 30 – 40 minutes.

A chemical solution can help treat acne-scarred skin. This procedure removes the old scarred skin to make way for the newly skin to surface and thus improving the appearance of the condition. The chemical peel also exfoliates clogged pores and destroys the bacteria to prevent acne from forming.
Acne light treatment is a wonderful option to help destroy the bacteria responsible for acne. The broad spectrum of light will destroy the acne bacteria for a quick clearance of current acne breakouts and at the same time, the light penetrates deeper into the skin and slows down bacteria metabolism to prevent future acne from forming. The
treatment dramatically clears up to 80% or more acne in just a few weeks. This is a great alternative to conventional treatment such as creams and oral antibiotics. This offers acne sufferers a drug-free, easy and effective alternative without the side effects commonly found with medications. Patients have been extremely happy with the results and enjoy benefits of long lasting clear skin after just a few treatments.
Can Acne be Cured?
No, there is presently no known cure for acne. We can only treat the symptoms of acne and take reasonable steps to prevent it.
How many treatments are required, and what do they involve?
The treatment involves first cleansing the face or affected area. This is followed by an intense light treatment which focuses on the bacteria, yet leaving the skin harm-free and rejuvenated. Following the treatment, your face or treatment area is revitalized by our physician only skin care product line to help rejuvenate, moisturize and protect your skin. An acne light treatment session typically will last 15-30 minutes. The protocol is 2-4 treatments, 1-2 weeks apart. The exact number of treatments is determined on an individual basis.
Is the treatment harmful?
Absolutely not. The light penetrates just deep enough into the tissue to reach the acne causing bacteria. The energy spares the surrounding tissue, and is absorbed by the bacteria.
What should I do between treatments?
You should avoid touching or picking your blemishes or acne at all times. In addition, an anti-bacterial facial cleanser, treatment pads with salicylic acid and a daily moisturizer with sun protection can compliment the effects of the treatment.
Mesotherapy is considered the most successful treatment for the reduction of cellulite and small fat deposits, body contouring, sculpting, and skin toning available today. Treatments are non-invasive and non-surgical. This is a great alternative to liposuction. With Mesotherapy, you don’t have to worry about the complications, side effects, and down time associated with surgery. This fantastic breakthrough has been featured on Vogue Magazine, 20/20, Allure Magazine, USA Today, and is acclaimed as the only effective treatment to refine and eliminate cellulite and small fat deposits with long-term results.
What is the treatment like?
Mesotherapy involves injecting microscopic quantities of medications targeted where they are needed. They are formulated and tailored to the individual’s condition. Anywhere from 5 or more microinjections are delivered depending on the size of the area and condition treated. Mesotherapy stimulates the repair of the skin and connective tissues, dissolves adipose (fat) tissues, and increases circulation. Targeted regions of the body can be treated and the results are best elicited in combination with a healthy diet and exercise program.
Generally 5 to 15 treatments are recommended for best results. Areas of treatment can include:
Does Mesothearpy really work?
The procedure has been around for nearly two decades, performed by hundreds of physicians in the United States with thousands of treatments done yearly. The procedure has shown to be very effective on an individualized patient population. This means while some patients will experience great results, others may not have the same result or in some instances, no results at all. There are many different factors that go into whether a patient will have an increase chance of having good results from the procedure. Make sure you discuss with you consultant realistic expectations from this procedure.
Is it uncomfortable and what are some of the common side effects?
A topical numbing gel can be used to minimize any discomfort. You may experience some bruising and mild swelling. Swelling should resolve between 24-48 hours. Bruising can be minimized by avoiding Aspirin or any other blood thinners and may take a few days to resolve.
How long will treatments take?
A treatment section usually lasts 45 minutes.
How does Mesotherapy work on weight loss and spot reduction?
Mesotherapy may target specific areas or spots where your body stores excessive fat. It blocks the body from storing new fat and helps break down the existing stored fat cells and metabolize the fat (lipolysis). Your body then flushes out the metabolized fat. Mesotherapy is designed to dissolve fat pads or areas at targeted locations. It is not intended as a weight reducing method, although 5-15 pounds of weight loss is expected, depending on the size of the area being targeted.
How fast will I see results?
Results vary, according to your body type, treatment goals, and severity of the problem. Often times, patients report seeing results after a few sessions. For certain conditions, you may appreciate immediate results.
Will the results last?
Yes, the results will last. Mesotherapy is a permanent solution to cellulite and fat reduction. However, keep in mind that maintaining your weight loss and optimal sculpting results requires diet and exercise. You may elect to have touch up treatments from time to time.
What medications are used in Mesotherapy treatments?
What can I do to increase my chances of getting good results from Mesotherapy?
Keep in mind the procedure is designed to help eliminate fat, but each individual’s eating habits will ultimately determine whether the patient will be able to keep the eliminated fat off. If a patient does not change his/her diet and eating habits, this will result in the patient re-accumulating the same body shape and figure that he/she started with, since his/her diet resulted in their current body shape.
b. Maintain good hydration:
Patients must maintain proper body hydration in order to maximize the results of this procedure. It is recommended that patients consume 64 ounces of water daily.
The procedure is ideal for patients that can maintain a moderate level of exercise/activity. It is not intended for the obese or sedentary patient, nor is it effective as a type of weight loss treatment. The procedure is designed for those active patients that are unable to eliminate those targeted isolated fat pads with their current exercise routine.
Mesotherapy is a safe and effective treatment with remarkable results. Under the right supervision of our BioDerm Medical Staff, your treatments will be monitored properly and performed only by our medical staff to ensure your safety and comfort. If you have any questions, please feel free to give us a call and one of our friendly consultants or nurses will be more then happy to answer any questions you may have.
Are those unsightly spider veins on your legs and body causing unnecessary stress and embarrassment? Sclerotherapy is the most effective treatment option to permanently liminate those bothersome and unwanted veins. This treatment can now allow you to show off those smooth, beautiful legs again. Although often used for spider veins of the legs, sclerotherapy can be used almost anywhere on the body.
What are Spider Veins?
Spider veins are superficial, small, thin unsightly single or clusters of red, blue, or purple veins that usually appear on the thighs, calves and ankles and occasionally on the face, abdomen, and other areas of the body. These vessels are located in the uppermost portion of the skin’s surface. Millions of men and women are bothered by spider veins with an estimated 50% of the adult female population and 15% – 20% of the adult male population shares this cosmetic problem. These veins are not an essential part of your skin’s blood supply so their elimination will not harm your skin or health. Although they are unsightly, they can also cause aching, swelling, burning and night
What Causes Spider Veins?
Spider veins are caused by factors such as: pregnancy, weight gain, prolonged standing or sitting, long term sun exposure, and genetics. Certain medications, such as birth control pills or hormone replacement medication can also cause spider veins. They form when deep blood vessels have increased in pressure and there is a back flow of blood. Superficial blood vessels are formed at the skin surface to relieve this pressure, thus creating spider veins.
What is Sclerotherapy?
Sclerotherapy involves injecting a tiny needle with a sclerosing agent into the blood vessel. The introduction of the sclerosing agent will eventually disrupt the lining of the blood vessel wall and cause the vessel to collapse. The body will eventually absorb the blood vessel. Due to the size of the needle and sclerosing agent used, there is practically no pain associated with the procedure.
How long does the treatment take and how many treatments do I need?
Depending on the area being treated and the number of veins present, treatment times can last from 15-45 minutes. The number of treatments also depends on the number and characteristic of veins being treated.
What should I expect after treatment?
You are expected to keep the area wrapped in compression stockings or ice wraps for a few days to keep the spider veins closed and from reoccurring. Some veins will appear darker before they get better. Although a majority of veins will disappear after one treatment, some veins will require repeated treatments to be completely treated. Certain activities that generally cause increased pressure and dilation of blood vessels will need to be avoided for a few days after the treatment to prevent them from returning. Following completion of the treatment, you can expect smooth, beautiful, vein-free skin.
What veins can be injected?
Only small to medium superficial spider veins can be injected. Sclerotherapy is not effective for large, bulging varicose veins.
Is the injection painful?
No. There may be a slight stinging or pinching sensation.
What are the potential complications of the procedure?
Serious complications are rare.
Temporary side effects may include:
Can I return to normal daily activities after the procedure?
You are to refrain from prolong standing, heavy lifting, exercising, hot baths and showers,
saunas, steam rooms and any activity that would cause your blood vessels to dilate for 72
hours after treatment.

The process does involve 5-8 treatments, spaced 3-4 weeks apart, depending on the size, darkness, color, and complexity of the tattoo, but with every treatment, you will notice a continued lightening of the image, until the tattoo is nearly completely invisible. Although a laser will be used, a numbing cream and or icing of the area is available to minimize any discomfort.
Will I scar?
Usually, there is little to no scarring involved for most patients. Occasionally, if you have a history of large scars forming from minor trauma (keloid formation), the likelihood of scarring my be higher. Otherwise, the procedure is similar to the actual tattoo process you initially endured, and if you did not scar during the tattoo, you have a very low likelihood of scarring during this procedure.
How long does the process take?
Depending on the size of the tattoo, treatments range from 20-30 minutes.
Will the Tattoo be completely gone?
Generally the tattoo is completely removed. Typically, at least a 90-95 % lightening is accomplished, depending on the size, depth, and colors involved. Also, depending on if the tattoo was professionally performed, may required additional treatments since this usually means more ink is in the skin and more evenly distributed. Continued treatments results in continued fading of the tattoo.
